Deep burnt Alumina Zirconia Carbon Slide Plate
Adopting tabular corundum, fused alumina, fused alumina zirconia, zirconium mullite as raw materials, through the addition of moderate micro and fine metal powder, by reaction under high temperature, to increase the high temperature performance of plates. Through the adding of moderate boron carbide powder to increase the oxidation resistance of plates. The bonding agent is phenolic resin with high solid content and high carbon residue.

After forming, adopting advanced heating treatment technology, through impregnating, burning to form high performance slide plates. With features of good thermal stability, excellent erosion resistance, stable consistency in shape and size, mainly suitable for ladles over 180 tons or converter slagging slide gate systems.

Application
Refractory sliding plates play a crucial and indispensable role in numerous high-temperature industrial fields such as metallurgy and casting. The following elaborates on their specific applications:
I. Steel Metallurgy Industry
Ladles: During the refining and transfer of molten steel, the ladle is a core container. The refractory sliding plate is installed at the bottom of the ladle to precisely control the outflow of molten steel. For example, after the molten steel is tapped from the converter, it is poured into the ladle, and at this time, the sliding plate is in the closed state to prevent the leakage of molten steel. When the ladle arrives at the refining station or the casting station, the sliding plate is opened through mechanical or hydraulic devices, allowing the molten steel to be injected into the next process equipment, such as a refining furnace or a continuous casting tundish, at a predetermined flow rate and volume. Its advantages lie in enabling multiple opening and closing operations to meet the complex process rhythm requirements in steel production, effectively reducing secondary oxidation of the molten steel, improving the purity of the molten steel, and thus enhancing the quality of steel products.
Tundishes: As a transitional container for molten steel flowing from the ladle to the mold, the refractory sliding plate in the tundish is also of vital importance. It can flexibly adjust the flow rate of molten steel entering the mold, ensuring the stability of the continuous casting process. During continuous casting, if an abnormal situation occurs in a certain strand of the mold, such as the risk of breakout or quality problems of the cast slab, the corresponding sliding plate can be quickly closed to prevent the molten steel from continuing to flow into the problematic mold, avoiding the expansion of the accident and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the entire continuous casting production line.
II. Non-ferrous Metal Metallurgy Industry
Copper Smelting: In the smelting and refining of copper, the refractory sliding plate is used to control the flow direction of the copper liquid. For example, between smelting equipment such as reverberatory furnaces and converters and subsequent refining furnaces and casting ladles, the sliding plate serves as a key valve to ensure the smooth transfer of the copper liquid. Since copper liquid has a lower melting point but higher chemical activity compared to molten steel, high requirements are placed on the corrosion resistance and sealing performance of the refractory sliding plate. III. Casting Industry
Cast Iron Casting: In the production process of cast iron parts, the refractory sliding plate installed at the bottom of the casting ladle is responsible for controlling the pouring process of molten iron into sand molds or metal molds.
