Steel casting refractory slide gate plate bricks primarily encompass the following scenarios:
1. Small Size Slide Plate - Al-C;
Slide gate plate models include: 1QC, 2QC, 1BK, 2BK, C51, CS60/80, LS50/70/90, LG20 21 22 (VSV374 421 441)
Models like FLOCON 4200/6300/ B50/250, and LQLV50/150/180 also provide excellent solutions.
2. Middle & Large Size Slide Plate - AL-Zr-C; Al-C; or Both. Models include CS60/CS80, LS50/70/90, LG20 21
3. Special Steel (Ca-treatment steel) - Al-Spinel; Mg Spinel formulations available.
The slide gate plate is the linchpin in slide gate systems, crucial for regulating the flow rate of molten steel.
In the face of repeated exposure to high-temperature molten steel, especially at the cast hole, slide plates must exhibit high strength, outstanding corrosion resistance, and anti-stripping properties. These ensure no steel leakage during the pouring process.

Seal protection for slide gates focuses on both the upper slide plate and nozzle, as well as the lower counterparts. The sealing materials, often gaskets made of fiber or fireclay, contribute to preserving the high cleanliness of molten steel and the uniformity of the internal quality of slabs.
