Tundish Nozzles usually comprise a zirconia inner nozzle (often referred to as a "zirconia insert") with a lower grade outer body such as Alumina Bauxite, often be called Outer Alumina Carbon material.

1.Ladle Nozzles
Adopting tabular corundum, white corundum, silicon carbide, metal aluminium, high quality magnesite as main materials. Choosing good anti-oxidation flake graphite as carbon source, adding small amount antioxidant to increase oxidation resistance. Using phenolic resin as bonding which obtains high solid content and high carbon residue.After forming and shaping, process pitch impregnation according to using conditions.
With features of good thermal shock resistance, high temperature strength, anti-erosion, anti-scouring, long service life and wide range application.

 
Raw material Tabular corundum, fused alumina, fused alumina zirconia, zirconium mullite
Forming technology Through the addition of moderate micro and fine metal powder, by reaction under high temperature, to increase the performance of plates under h igh temp.
Through adding of moderate boron carbide powder to increase the oxidation resistance of plates.
The bonding agent is phenolic resin with high solid content and high carbon residue.
Heat treatment technology After forming, adopting advanced heating treatment technology, through graphite immersion, high temperature burning to form high strength slide plates.
Characteristic With features of good thermal stability, excellent erosion resistance, stable consistency in shape and size.
Application Suitable for ladles over 180 tons or converter slagging slide gate systems.

4. Application:
Tundish upper nozzle It is located within the tundish lining and conveys steel to the controlling exchangeable nozzle, which determines the steel flow. The stationary nozzle must be capable of withstanding long sequence times. SNREF Upper nozzle that incorporates a ultra-high insert. The insert provides excellent erosion resistance and can provide extended casting sequence times. The lower surface of the stationary nozzle is ground to exacting tolerances to ensure maximum surface contact between the two nozzle components. Tundish lower nozzle It is located within an assembly that is fixed to the bottom of the tundish.The design of the exchangeable nozzle can vary according to the system manufacturer. We supplying a range of zirconia inserts and composite nozzle designs for the exchangeable metering of steel. Zirconia inserts can be supplied for on-site assembly into metallic holding blocks where cementing, grinding, size banding and on site drying are required prior to use. It was manufactured by both cast process of fine grained alumina method or presse process.
