Product Description

The CS80 ladle slide gate, as a core device for controlling the molten steel flow in the continuous casting process of steel smelting, is of great significance for the smooth progress of production and the stable guarantee of steel quality.
 

Material Composition
The CS80 ladle slide gate mainly adopts high - quality alumina - zirconia - carbon (Al - Zr - C) materials. Some models may also use alumina - carbon (Al - C) materials according to specific customer requirements. In its composition, the content of Al2O3 (alumina) is usually between 80% - 90%. This high - content alumina endows the product with excellent high - temperature resistance, enabling it to withstand the extremely high temperature of molten steel. The content of ZrO2(zirconia) is approximately 4% - 8%. The addition of zirconia significantly enhances the thermal stability of the product. Even under the working conditions of rapid temperature changes, it can still maintain stable physical properties and avoid cracking or damage due to thermal shock. The content of C (carbon) is 3% - 5%. The carbon element helps to improve the erosion resistance of the product, making it more resistant to the erosion of molten steel and slag, thus effectively extending the service life of the slide gate.
