The CS60 ladle slide gate is a key device used to control the molten steel flow in the continuous casting process of steel smelting.
 
  • Material: High - quality alumina - carbon (Al - C) or alumina - zirconia - carbon (Al - Zr - C) materials are adopted. The Al2O3 content is usually 70% - 90% or determined according to the customer's steel grade requirements, and it contains certain components such as ZrO2 and C. These materials endow the product with good high - temperature resistance, erosion resistance, thermal stability and mechanical strength, which can bear the hydrostatic pressure of molten steel, scouring and slag erosion.

 
  • Features:
    • Good thermal stability: It can bear the rapid change of temperature, maintain stable performance during the pouring process of molten steel, and is not easy to be damaged by thermal shock.

  • Working principle: The upper and lower slide bricks are slid relatively through the sliding mechanism to drive the opening and closing of the molten steel flow hole to adjust the flow of molten steel. The upper nozzle and the upper slide plate are fixed in the mechanism, and the lower slide plate and the lower nozzle are installed in the carriage that can move left and right. When the inner holes of the upper and lower slide plates coincide, the opening of the nozzle is the largest; when they do not coincide, the nozzle is closed. The carriage moves left and right by means of a driving device such as a hydraulic cylinder, and the lower slide plate and the upper slide plate are pressed tightly by a spring to prevent gaps from being generated between the slide plates during the movement, so as to prevent molten steel from leaking.

 
  • Application: It is mainly used in equipment such as ladles and tundishes in the iron and steel metallurgy industry, and is suitable for the continuous casting production process of various steel grades. It is used to accurately adjust the flow of molten steel from the ladle to the continuous casting tundish, so that the inflow and outflow of molten steel reach equilibrium, making the continuous casting operation easier to control.

 
  • Production process: High - quality raw materials such as tabular corundum, fused alumina, fused alumina zirconia and zirconium mullite are used. With features of good thermal stability, excellent erosion resistance, stable consistency in shape and size, mainly suitable for ladles over 180 tons or converter slagging slide gate systems.
